Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. This role ensures that all digital signage content is displayed accurately and efficiently, managing both the hardware and software aspects of the systems. The manager will collaborate with marketing, IT, and external vendors to maintain high-quality visual communications. Key Responsibilities: Deployment and Setup: o Plan and execute the installation of digital signage devices, including screens, media players, and network infrastructure. o Configure digital signage software and ensure that all devices are connected to the central content management system. o Work with the design and marketing teams to upload and schedule content on digital signage devices. Maintenance and Monitoring: o Monitor the health and performance of digital signage devices to ensure continuous operation. o Perform routine maintenance, including software updates, hardware repairs, and cleaning of screens. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity, display quality, and content playback. Content Management: o Collaborate with the content team to schedule and publish content across various digital signage networks. o Ensure content is displayed according to the brand guidelines and at the correct times. o Manage content playlists and make adjustments based on real-time needs or emergency situations. Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: o Coordinate with vendors for the procurement, installation, and repair of digital signage hardware. o Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners providing digital signage software or content services. o Communicate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing and IT teams, to align digital signage efforts with overall business goals. Reporting and Analysis: o Generate reports on digital signage performance, including uptime, content engagement, and system issues. o Analyze data to improve content strategies and optimize device placement and usage. o Provide regular updates to management on the status and effectiveness of the digital signage network. Innovation and Improvement: o Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in digital signage. o Propose and implement new features or technologies to enhance the effectiveness of digital signage. o Test and evaluate new digital signage solutions before deployment. Qualifications: Education: o Bachelors degree in information technology, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. Experience: o 3+ years of experience in managing digital signage systems or related technologies. o Familiarity with digital signage software. o Experience in network management and troubleshooting. Technical Skills: o Strong understanding of networking principles, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi. o Proficiency in digital content management systems and multimedia file formats. o Basic knowledge of video production and editing tools. Soft Skills: o Excellent organizational and project management skills. o Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
