Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing the project, and providing technical expertise and guidance. With your strong leadership skills and expertise in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality applications and driving the success of the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. - Manage the project and ensure timely delivery. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team. - Oversee the entire application development process. - Identify and mitigate risks and issues. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. - Monitor and report on project progress. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in application development. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). - Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. - Experience in leading application development projects. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams. - Experience in risk management and mitigation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. - Familiarity with software development technologies and frameworks. - Knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps practices. - Experience in stakeholder management and customer relationship management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
