Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve working with SAS Base & Macros, and leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of software solutions using SAS Base & Macros, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring their professional growth and development. - Act as the primary point of contact for all application-related issues, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in software development, and integrate innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: Senior SAS Developer with good analytical skills, understand requirements from business Strong experience in Base SAS, SAS macros, SAS SQL, SAS DI Studio, SAS EG & SAS SMC & Flow Manager Excellent communication - ability to convey information to non-technical / business colleagues in a clear and concise way Ability to translate business requirements into design/tech solution/delivery Desirable: Prior experience in banking, credit risk & regulatory deliverables Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAS Base & Macros. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
