Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop and implement solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application issues, as well as providing technical support to end-users. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and maintain applications based on business requirements. - Design and implement software solutions that align with business needs. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and practices. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Ensure high-quality deliverables by following best practices and standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Document technical specifications and user manuals for applications. - Perform unit testing and debugging of applications. - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications. - Train end-users on new applications and features. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), PySpark. - Strong understanding of data analytics and data processing techniques. - Experience in designing and developing scalable and reliable applications. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Scala. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with database systems and SQL. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
