As the Software Defined Vehicle Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, integration, and validation of software-defined vehicle technologies, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the strategic roadmap for software-defined vehicle technologies, aligning with business objectives and market trends. Team Management: Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists in software development, system integration, and validation. Software Architecture: Design scalable and robust software architectures for software-defined vehicles, considering real-time requirements and safety-critical aspects. Integration and Validation: Oversee the integration of software-defined vehicle components and systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance across the entire vehicle platform. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineering, vehicle dynamics, cybersecurity, and user experience (UX) to deliver integrated solutions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR) throughout the software development lifecycle. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers involved in software-defined vehicle technologies, overseeing contract negotiations and project deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: System Architecture Design: Define the overall system architecture for automotive software projects covering E/E architecture, digital cockpit, drive control, In Vehicle Infotainment by collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. Requirements Analysis: Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirements of automotive systems and translate them into software architecture and design specifications. Software Design Patterns: Apply appropriate design patterns and best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and flexible software solutions. Technology Selection: Evaluate and choose suitable technologies, tools, and frameworks to build the software components and ensure compatibility with the automotive ecosystem. Analyze/evaluation architectural design alternatives (Solution Space) with respect to the systems requirements (function, performance, cost, feasibility) and make sure designed system/ frameworks and solutions in line with #FitForFuture goal. Be an extra miler always ready to wear the mantle of an expert developer and get hands-on as required by the situation. Safety and Reliability: Ensure that the software architecture meets safety standards, adheres to automotive regulations, and provides robust and reliable performance Integration and Interoperability: Plan and oversee the integration of software modules between ECUs/different Microcontrollers, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between various components and systems Customizing OS, feasibility analysis of adding new feature to an existing system. Deadline-driven and highly motivated individual Good analytical and problem-solving skills Technology stack: Linux, AOS, RTOS, GAP, CAN, CAN Open, SOME/IP, LIN, Flexray, Autosar Architecture, MBSE, E/E Architecture, work experience working with different SOCs, Zone based architecture, domain control, C, C++, RUST, Python, Java.
