Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using Microsoft Azure PaaS. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to develop and deploy applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Microsoft Azure PaaS, acting as the primary point of contact. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. - Develop and deploy applications using Microsoft Azure PaaS, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development. - Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications using Microsoft Azure PaaS. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Internet of Things (IOT), Microsoft Azure DevOps, IoT Device Management. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles. - Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. - Solid grasp of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python. - Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Industry expertise in Experience in OT technologies in manufacturing domain Expertise in Azure IoT services Expertise in integration with manufacturing control systems, historian, databases Knowledge on Azure Cloud Platform - PaaS & IaaS. Expertise in building custom edge modules using Azure edge stack Expertise in creating real time streaming ingestion pipeline based on Kafka/OPC-UA Proven ability in design principles, patterns, best practices Ability to create architecture design, do code reviews and refactoring for especially for brown field implementations Hands-on experience for executing required Proof of Concepts for decision making with knowledge to leverage IoT data simulators as required for the domain Experience in code engineering tools like static automated unit testing, code analysis, code coverage and automated build and deployment using Azure DevOps Excellent stakeholder communication and management with ability to come up with a Point of Views and proof of concepts as necessary Technical Experience : 4-5 years of experience as developer in Azure IoT domain with exposure to manufacturing OT technologies & integration Expertise in OPC UA, MQTT, AMQP, Modbus, TCP, HTTPS, etc. C# or Python Experience with camera hardware integration is a plus Docker Containerization MS Azure IoT platform services Hands on knowledge of o IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge / Custom IoT Edge Gateway o Azure Security Center for IoT Tooling knowledge o MS Test, Static Code Analyzer & Code Coverage tools. o MS Visual Studio, VSTS, VS Code o PowerShell Certification desired o AZ 220 Professional Attributes : Person with strong leadership skills who can define technology strategy, drive the talent build up & growth, identify execution bottlenecks, risks, issues early on and drive corrective actions. Additional Info : Familiarity with Linux OS Python, bash Azure DevOps Exposure to IoT simulators, Virtual PLCs, Factory.io and other mock downstream utilities and tools. Exposure to Infrastructure as a Code platforms such as Terraform, Ansible.
