Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of applications and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth functioning of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for application development. - Design and develop solutions that meet the business needs and align with industry best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth functioning of applications. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in application development. - Additional Responsibility 1: Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems. - Additional Responsibility 2: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Workday Advanced Reporting. - Strong understanding of Workday Advanced Reporting and its functionalities. - Experience in designing and developing complex reports using Workday Advanced Reporting. - Knowledge of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration with Advanced Reporting. - Familiarity with Workday security and data access controls. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday certifications. - Recommendation 1: Proficiency in SQL and database management. - Recommendation 2: Knowledge of HR processes and practices. - Recommendation 3: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - Relevant years of experience as a Senior level employee in Workday Advanced Reporting is required. - Mandatory to have Workday certifications
