Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Lead the design and development of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Manage the application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. - Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with other systems. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application development. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and performance. - Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications. - Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Experience in designing and optimizing data models for large-scale data sets. - Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing query performance. - Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Google BigQuery. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
