Job Title: Application Engineer II
We're looking to extend our dynamic software development team. If you're a motivated and efficientSoftware Engineer looking for a new challenge where you will have opportunity to make a realimpact on the end product and have possibility to work on non-trivial engineering problems, pleaseget in touch.
Requirements:
- Very good Java development skills, ideally at least 4 years of relevant experience with Javaprofessional development.
- Good object-oriented design skills.
- Good understanding and prior experience with Spring Framework, ideally Spring Boot.
- Experience and good understanding of relational databases, eg. Postgres. Experience withJPA/Hibernate, transaction handling, etc.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing, familiarity with tools like junit, mockito,assertj, etc.
- Understanding of modern software development techniques, CI/CD pipelines, docker
- Understanding of web applications, REST APIs, HTTP protocol, etc.
- Fluency with git and maven
- Good understanding of core computing concepts (OS, networking), familiarity with Linux
Experience with messaging/asynchronous communication is a plus
Good to have:
- Knowledge and experience with Angular framework (2.0 onwards)
- Fluency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other core web technologies
- Experience with end to end UI testing, eg. Cypress
