Application Engineer (experience in PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion control)

Role: Application Engineer (experience in PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion control)

Number of years of experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience from OEM / End user industry in automation control involving PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion control & others.

Base Location: Pune

Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled Field Application Engineer with expertise in Automation Industries. Ideal candidate should have experience in products of Industrial Automation processes & related program development skills.

Key Responsibilities and skills:

• The Application Engineer should have the technical expertise to analyze electrical and mechanical requirements of customer application and convert to solutions.
• Possess skills in managing the spectrum of activities inclusive of designing automation & control systems and configuring PLC, HMI software. Hands on experience with AC Variable speed drives, PLC Motion controller, Servo system preferred
• Ability to simultaneously handle several application projects and self-manage priorities in competitive environment.
• Provide technical presentations to customer personnel as required
• Working knowledge in OEM applications and solutions

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Diploma in Engineering with equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience from OEM / End user industry in automation control involving PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion control & others.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems and software applications
• Willing to travel and stay at customer site for successful implementation of application solution.
• Self-starter with excellent customer interaction & Interpersonal skills necessary to foster positive long-term relationships with customers and the partners, system integrator, distributor
• Should be involved in programming of Drives
• Knowledge of Drive commissioning
• Servo/PLC hands on experience....
• Domain know how of industries like process, paper, sugar, steel and F&B will be added advantage.

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with or w/o specialized training in Industrial automation
