Application Development Engineer | Automotive and Aerospace Division

Job Description:

As an Application Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: ​

• Focus on Automotive and Commercial Vehicle industry customers, drive growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization.

• Introduce 3M new technology and new products to customers to make breakthrough for NPI introduction.

• Leveraging 3M to drive Customer Inspired Innovation (CII) programs through market specialization that complement product expertise.

• Proactively contributing to the development of value propositions for effective commercialization in the competitive market

• Provide field support for major customers.

• Improve productivity by leveraging e-tools.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree+ in material science or mechanical related majors

• 3+ years of application development or process development experience

• Experience in automotive industry would be a plus

• Collaborates with colleagues in local and global to innovate, influence, and/or negotiate when required

• Maintains awareness of current and developing safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, applies same to all assignments.

• Fluency in English, comfortable to work in a global organization

• Self-motivated
