Job Description:

8+ years of experience as Oracle Developer 

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle RMS modules (Item, Purchase Orders, Inventory, Transfers, Pricing, and Replenishment).

• Customize RMS base functionality using PL/SQL, Pro*C, and Forms/Reports.

• Design and implement data integrations between RMS and other Oracle Retail products such as ReIM, RPM, ReSA, SIM, ORPOS, or external systems.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design documents (TDDs). 

• Perform unit testing, participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). 

• Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support for RMS incidents and service requests.

• Optimize SQL queries and improve performance of batch processes.

• Work on migration and upgrades (RMS 14.x to 19.x or RMS to Cloud migration).

• Collaborate with functional, DBA, and infrastructure teams for deployments and release activities.

• Maintain technical documentation, including configuration, version control, and support runbooks.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Pro*C, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Unix Shell Scripting.

• Experience in developing or supporting Oracle Retail RMS (v14.x or later).

• Good understanding of retail business processes — Merchandising, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Costing, and Promotions.

• Exposure to integration frameworks (e.g., Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB), RSB, or custom API/web services).

• Experience in data migration, batch processing, and performance tuning. 

• Familiarity with RMS database schema and dependencies with other Oracle Retail modules.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
