Summary: As a Backend / Middleware Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for creating efficient and scalable applications using the Spring Boot framework. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, analyzing business requirements, and developing high-quality software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop efficient and scalable applications using the Spring Boot framework. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Application Framework, Java Enterprise Edition, REST Web Service Development using Spring Framework - Must To Have Skills: Hands on experience in Java 8+ [Collections, Streams, Functional Programming, Exception Handling] - Must To have Skills: Strong Experience in Functional Programming and Concepts using Java. - Must To have skills: SQL [Structured Query Language] with Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Must To have Tools: Hand on Knowlege on Monitoring and Troubleshooting with frameworks like SPLUNK/Kibana/AppDynamics, GitHub/GitLab, JIRA, Code Review Tools SonarQube/Checkmarks/OWASPZAP/DAST - Must To Have Methods: Agile Methodologies either SCRUM or SAFe Agile - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Good To Have Skills: Microservice Development Experience - Good To Have Skills: Experience with React.js/next.js or front-end development experience using any JavaScript framework. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
