Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed and implemented effectively to support the organization's goals and objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, analyzing business requirements, designing application solutions, coding and testing applications, and providing technical support to resolve any issues that arise. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. - Create technical specifications and design documents. - Code, test, and debug applications using Apache Spark and other relevant technologies. - Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Ensure that applications are delivered on time and within budget. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development. - Mentor and guide junior developers in their professional growth. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark. - Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and concepts. - Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop or Apache Flink. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Scala. - Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and storage techniques. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Knowledge of streaming data processing using technologies like Kafka or Apache NiFi. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Apache Spark. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
