Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to specifications and delivered on time. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the requirements, designing and coding the applications, and testing and debugging them to ensure they function properly. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting the application design and providing support and maintenance as needed. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and build applications according to business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand the application requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Code and test applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and function properly. - Debug and fix any issues or bugs in the applications. - Document the application design, including technical specifications and user manuals. - Provide support and maintenance for the applications, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in application development. - Train and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and best practices. - Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure successful project delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Utilities Retail. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing applications using [PRIMARY SKILL]. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Familiarity with database management systems, such as Oracle or MySQL. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
