Summary: As an Application Developer for Custom Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Liferay DXP, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful data-driven solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications using Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Liferay DXP and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP). - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation. - Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications. - Solid grasp of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
