Summary: As an Application Developer for Data Architecture, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Apache Hadoop. Your typical day will involve working with the Hadoop ecosystem, developing and deploying applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications using Apache Hadoop to meet business process and application requirements. - Develop and deploy Hadoop applications, including MapReduce jobs, Hive queries, and Pig scripts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to complex data problems. - Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of Hadoop applications by implementing best practices and optimizing code. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Hadoop. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and HBase. - Strong understanding of distributed computing principles. - Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Hive, Pig, and HDFS. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python. - Solid grasp of SQL and NoSQL databases. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Apache Hadoop. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, data science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
