Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to specifications and delivered on time. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, making team decisions, and engaging with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions. You will also provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams, ensuring smooth functioning of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Ensure smooth functioning of the applications - Design and build applications according to specifications - Configure applications to meet business process and application requirements Professional & Technical Skills: - Must have broad and expert-level database technical knowledge and skills on Oracle database. - Must have experience of 7+ years with PL/SQL development, implementing new stored procedures and scripts, resolve complex PLSQL compilation issues, and fix errors due to object grants/dependencies. - Must have experience and knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Trace/Explain plans, SQL performance tuning. Setting Oracle parameters, and options. - Should have knowledge of creating and maintaining Tables, Partitioning, indexes, Triggers, stored procedures, etc. in a large terabyte database environment. - Hands-on experience on installation and configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle products and patches (including Exadata) and SQL Server - Writes database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary. - Sound knowledge of the SDLC, and experience in code migration, database change management and data management. - Exposure to building cloud ready and migrating applications using Azure and understanding of the Azure Native Cloud services, software design and enterprise integration patterns. - Experience using DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins. - Experience of working on Kubernetes / OpenShift, Containerization - Very good analytical and development skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner.
