Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using AWS Core Infrastructure. Your typical day will involve working with Microservices and Light Weight Architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Support the ITSM toolchain and manage ITIL processes (e.g., IM, PM, CM, RM) according to defined SLAs. - Operate IT systems on modern AWS cloud solutions, focusing on implementation and planning documentation. - Continuously improve tools, technologies, and technical architectures in the cloud environment. - Implement scripts (e.g., Terraform, Heat, CloudFormation, Cookbooks) for automated environment construction. - Structure operational processes and services for cloud applications, including auto-scaling, lifecycle and patch management, - monitoring and logging, and secrets management. - Implement PoCs and test setups to assess technology components and project-specific requirements. - Support open source releases of software components using tools like Black Duck Hubs and deployment pipelines. - Perform operation readiness checks and introduce up-to-date software development techniques and tools. - Derive and implement optimization measures for performance, capacity, costs, and availability. - Automate recurring activities, backup/restore operations, and housekeeping activities. - Manage monitoring, exchange, and whitelisting of certificates/keys/credentials. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proficiency in German and English (B2 level or higher). - Expert knowledge of the VW ITSM toolchain and ITIL processes. - Experience with AWS cloud computing services. - Familiarity with tools and processes for automated provisioning of systems in cloud computing environments and infrastructure as code methods & tools. - Knowledge of modern technologies in cloud environments. - Experience with CI/CD, build and configuration management, and source code and artifact management tools (e.g., Bamboo, Bitbucket, Git). - Understanding of software development and current software architecture trends and technologies (e.g., Microservices, 12-Factor Apps, Continuous Delivery). - In-depth knowledge of modern network protocols and network layer technical processes. - Practical experience in administration of productive network environments. - Experience with agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in AWS Core Infrastructure. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
