Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using React.js. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality and integrity of the applications developed. Responsibilities A: Demonstrable ability to build applications in React is a must. B: The candidate must have a technical understanding of the React concepts like diffing, component lifecycle, etc. C: The candidate must be familiar with techniques to write reusable and maintainable components. D: The candidate must be proficient in the use of webpack and npm as a build management tool. When needed, the candidate should be able to build custom webpack plugins and/or npm scripts. E: The candidate must be proficient in the use of git, not just as a CVS, but as a tool used throughout build and deployment. Ability to use git purely via command-line is favorable for a non-senior role, but a must for a senior role. Professional Experience A: The features of the core Javascript language, as well as new features continually introduced, e.g., ES2015 - ES2017. B: CSS, both in how it behaves as a system to apply visual styling, as well as individual behaviors of the commonly used CSS properties. C: HTML, including page optimization techniques and semantic tags. D: The candidate must be able to write useful tests using their choice of frontend testing framework/s (Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, enzyme, etc.) E: Knowledge in state management frameworks like Redux or Flux is a huge plus, with knowledge on the former being more favorable. F: Proficiency in Javascript module systems is a must, with the ability to manage modules via npm a huge plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in React.js. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
