Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing efficient and effective software solutions to enhance business operations and meet client needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, designing application architecture, coding and testing software modules, and ensuring the successful deployment of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet business process and application requirements. - Create and maintain technical documentation for applications. - Perform unit testing and debugging of software modules to ensure their functionality and performance. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications during the testing and production phases. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. - Assist in the deployment and integration of applications into the production environment. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries. - Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing applications using SAP PP module. - Knowledge of SAP PP integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO. - Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP PP functionalities. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP PP module. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications. - Familiarity with SAP ABAP programming language. - Knowledge of SAP PP master data management and production order processing. - Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts. - Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
