Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop and implement solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and requirements. You will also contribute to key decisions, engage with multiple teams, and provide problem-solving solutions. With your expertise in Red Hat Linux Administration, you will play a crucial role in the development and configuration of applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Develop and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements - Ensure the applications align with business needs and requirements - Contribute to the development and implementation of solutions Professional & Technical Skills: - Red Hat Linux admin. Strong with Linux and Java processes, SWAP management, mount points, AD integration - Oracle 19c performance tuning. Being able to write reports, tune SQL queries, indexes, etc. - Control-M schedule incident management - DevOps reporting capability operating end end, from analysis all the way through to production deployment - SME escalation point for L1 and L2 support team where they encounter a batch reporting failure needs to drive RCA and remediation. - Proactive identification of areas that require performance tuning or improved resilience. - Participate in weekend deployments as part of a schedule that is rotated throughout the team. Though Id skew this to the operator types. - Backup for the batch schedule if the L1 and L2 support staff are absent. - Majority of time would be on reporting deliverables for BAU or project. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Red Hat Linux Admin - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full-time education is required
