Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the applications. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with the team to understand requirements, designing and developing application components, and conducting testing and debugging activities. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving application issues, as well as providing technical support to end-users. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of application development principles. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design and develop application components based on business requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand application requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct testing and debugging activities to ensure the functionality and performance of the applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner. - Provide technical support to end-users and assist them in resolving application-related problems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in designing and developing PL/SQL code. - Knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning techniques. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports development. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
