Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to specifications and delivered on time. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the requirements, designing and coding the applications, and performing testing and debugging to ensure the applications are functioning correctly. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, and providing support and guidance to the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Code and test applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and quality standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development process. - Provide support and guidance to the team. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. - Ensure that the applications are delivered on time and within budget. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into the application design. - Document the application design, development, and testing processes. - Train and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Stay updated with the latest developments in the Workday Core HCM domain. - Implement best practices and standards in application development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications. - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM. - Experience in designing, building, and configuring applications. - Strong knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday integrations. - Experience with web services and APIs. - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
