Summary: Design, develop, and optimize ABAP applications for SAP S/4HANA, leveraging HANA’s in-memory capabilities for high-performance, real-time business processes. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance applications using ABAP for S/4HANA and Suite on HANA• - Optimize performance using HANA-specific coding techniques (Code Pushdown, AMDP, CDS Views)• Create Core Data Services (CDS) for analytical and transactional scenarios• - Implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for complex logic in HANA• - Build OData services for Fiori/UI5 apps• - Use Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT) for modern ABAP development• - Apply Clean ABAP guidelines for maintainable code• - Perform SQL Performance Tuning and trace analysis (ST05, SQL Monitor)• - Integrate with BTP services via RFC, OData, or REST APIs• - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices Professional & Technical Skills: - Exp in ABAP for S/4HANA (7.5+ syntax)• Core Data Services (CDS) with annotations• ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)• Code Pushdown techniques• OData service creation (SEGW & RAP)• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)• SQLScript for HANA• Performance optimization tools (SQL Monitor, Runtime Analysis) - Exp in SAP Fiori/UI5 integration• RAP-based Fiori Elements applications• Knowledge of HANA modeling (Calculation Views, Table Functions)• Exposure to BTP and CAP integration• SAP Business Workflow on S/4HANA• Knowledge of event-driven ABAP (Enterprise Event Enablement) • Prompt engineering - Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools (ADT), SAP GUI, SAP HANA Studio, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
