Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to the specified requirements and are aligned with the business goals. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the application requirements, designing and developing the application components, and testing and debugging the application to ensure its functionality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop applications based on business process and application requirements. - Configure applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand the application requirements and provide technical guidance. - Test and debug applications to ensure their functionality and performance. - Identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the application code. - Ensure that the applications are developed according to the coding standards and best practices. - Document the application design, development, and configuration processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the applications. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in application development. - Provide technical support and guidance to the end-users of the applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Hadoop. - Strong understanding of distributed computing principles. - Experience with big data processing frameworks such as MapReduce, Spark, or Hive. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, YARN, and HBase. - Experience with data ingestion, data processing, and data storage in Hadoop. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apache Kafka or Apache Flink. - Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Hadoop. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
