Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in PeopleSoft PeopleTools to develop efficient and effective solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing application features, and ensuring the quality and performance of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design, develop, and test PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Create technical design documents and develop application features using PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft HCM or Financials modules. - Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and development methodologies. - Experience in PeopleSoft application development, including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker. - Knowledge of PeopleSoft database structures and SQL queries. - Familiarity with PeopleSoft security and role-based access control. - Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade and patching processes. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A BE or BTech Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
