Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with HCL Commerce, Websphere Application Server & Portal Administration, Kubernetes, and eCommerce Design & Development. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead discussions with clients to understand business requirements, and design, communicate, and document proposed technical solutions. Lead discussion with the technical team during product upgrade implementation and testing phase. Professional & Technical Skills: - Should have a good understanding of Commerce design patterns with hands-on exposure to commerce commands, databases, and presentation layers. - Should understand online e-commerce modules - B2C and B2B including WCS and Solr Search Customizations and Integrations - Hands-on experience on WebSphere Application Server Knowledge on MQ Series & Web servers. - Hands-on experience with Elastic Search & integration to CMS - Experience in Production Support, Customization, and Troubleshooting - Strong Technical Troubleshooting and SQL skills. - Experience in writing Functional and Technical Specifications. - Should prepare and present the HCL Commerce designs, architectural overviews, Proof Of Concepts (POCs), and Commerce Services/Implementation - Participate and contribute to formalizing the Commerce best practices with Architects and other SMEs - Work with an experienced Commerce Mentor to develop technical expertise in the Commerce space. - Having working experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins, Jira, GIT, Bitbucket - Hands-on work to implement new solutions for both the eCommerce product and integration with other third-party vendors. - Hands-on work to triage day-to-day issues in existing solutions as a part of the sustainment of the site. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in HCL Commerce, Websphere Application Server & Portal Administration, Kubernetes, and eCommerce Design & Development. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.
