Summary: As Zos Db2 DBA, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring application database to meet business process and application requirements using IBM DB2. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and testing applications, and ensuring their functionality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications using IBM DB2 to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application requirements. - Develop and test applications to ensure their functionality and performance. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and ensure their smooth operation. - Ensure the security, availability, and scalability of applications by implementing appropriate measures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM). - Strong understanding of database administration and management in the ZOs Platform. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with database backup and recovery procedures. - Solid grasp of database security and access control measures. - Rexx (Good to have) Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IBM DB2. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
