Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Ruby on Rails. Your typical day will involve working with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing scalable and maintainable applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop scalable and maintainable applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ruby on Rails. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable applications. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
