Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of applications and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design, build, and configure applications based on business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications. - Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes. - Assist in the deployment and implementation of applications in production environments. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications as needed. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and best practices. - Mentor and guide junior developers in their professional growth. - Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Participate in meetings and discussions to gather feedback and requirements for application enhancements. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of data integration processes. - Work closely with database administrators to ensure efficient data management and integrity. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. - Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools for application development. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge base. - Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during the entire software development lifecycle. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica MDM. - Experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica MDM. - Strong understanding of data modeling and database concepts. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Informatica MDM solutions. - Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter. - Experience in working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. - Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools. - Experience in working with large-scale data integration projects. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Informatica MDM. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
