Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the project requirements, designing and developing software solutions, and ensuring the applications meet quality standards and performance expectations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, as well as providing technical support and guidance to the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java Enterprise Edition. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software functionality. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with JQuery, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Apache Hadoop. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with web application development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. - Knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle or MySQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years of fulltime education is required.
