Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for creating efficient and scalable applications that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of Linux and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements. - Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Linux. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Linux Containers Administration. - Strong understanding of Linux operating system and command line interface. - Experience in application development using Linux technologies and frameworks. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
