Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for creating efficient and scalable solutions that align with the needs of the organization. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, and developing high-quality software applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand user requirements. - Design, develop, and test software applications using Temenos Transact. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality. - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Temenos Transact, Temenos Transact Development, JBC, Infobasic, Temenos packager. - Move all existing L3 from R21 to R23 ( L3T) - both code and data records. - Perform technical upgrade - both code and data records. - Logical classification of code into appropriate JAR files. - Movement of technically upgraded L3 into the main DEV environment - Follow up with BAs to identify redundancies and exclude them from scope. - Follow up with BAs to identify routines where they want to make enhancements as part of new L3/ integrations. For these, we except collabortaion and effort sharing with the new L3 Build or Integration teams. - Perform functional upgrade in Dev for the in scope items. - Perform unit testing for the upgraded components. - Understand the TSDs for new L3 and build the solution in L3 java extensibility, unit test the solution. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Temenos Transact. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
