Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Scala and Java. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing scalable and efficient applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements using Scala and Java. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop scalable and efficient applications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Ensure the quality of the application by conducting unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala. - Good To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience in developing and maintaining applications using Scala and Java. - Experience in database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. - Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Scala and Java. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient applications. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
