Key Responsibilities: 1. Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL database servers. 2. Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries for efficiency. 3. Implement security measures and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Technical Skills: 1. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering PostgreSQL database servers. 2. Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. 3. Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques in PostgreSQL. Professional Skills: 1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills specific to database administration. 2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and documentation. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Educational Background: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Relevant certifications in database administration, such as PostgreSQL Certified Engineer (PCE) or similar.
