Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the applications are developed according to specifications and are aligned with the organization's goals. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand requirements, designing and coding applications, and conducting testing and debugging to ensure the applications are functioning properly. Additionally, you will provide support and maintenance for existing applications and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop high-quality software applications based on business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Write efficient and maintainable code using Oracle PLSQL. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Provide support and maintenance for existing applications. - Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues. - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements and optimizations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in designing and developing database schemas and tables. - Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for optimizing database queries. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java programming language. - Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Spring MVC. - Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Educational Qualification: 15 years of continuous education. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
