Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the applications are developed according to specifications and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality solutions. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing application features, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the application development process and stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the field. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Design and develop high-quality software applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Ensure applications are developed according to specifications and meet business process requirements. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application development process. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in application development. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Document application design, architecture, and technical specifications. - Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of deliverables. - Support the deployment and maintenance of applications. - Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks. - Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
