Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Microsoft Power BI. Your typical day will involve working with Power BI, developing and deploying applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and configure applications using Microsoft Power BI to meet business process and application requirements. - Working with cross-functional teams, you will be required to gather and document business requirements for analysis and reporting project, as well as use BI tools to develop reporting solutions and dashboards to meet business needs. - Develop and deploy applications using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring successful project delivery. - Develop user friendly dashboards and be flexible in leveraging various data visualization tools. - Use ETL tools to load data store(s)/ data mart(s). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Microsoft Power BI and related technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS. - Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis techniques. - Experience in developing and deploying applications using Microsoft Power BI. - Experience with agile development methodologies. - Solid grasp of SQL and other database technologies. - Good to have experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience in working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
