Summary: As an Application Developer for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements in the Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation domain. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and testing applications, and ensuring their successful deployment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test applications in the Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation domain, ensuring their successful deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business process and application requirements, and develop solutions that meet those requirements. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation domain, and apply them to improve application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation, proficiency in application development using Java, Python, or C++, and experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, and experience with Agile development methodologies. - Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures. - Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL, and proficiency in data modeling and database design. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN, and proficiency in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Solid grasp of software testing principles, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in the Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation domain. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
