Summary: As a Data Engineer in Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing to ensure data quality and integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet those requirements. - Build and maintain data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. - Develop and maintain data models and schemas to ensure data consistency and accuracy. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and integrate innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark. - Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design. - Solid grasp of data quality and integrity concepts. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
