Summary: As a Prompt Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the underlying models and algorithms that power the ChatGPT assistant. You will work closely with a team of engineers, researchers, and data scientists to improve the performance and capabilities of the virtual assistant. This role requires a strong background in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and software engineering. Roles & Responsibilities: - Model Development: Design, implement, and iterate on state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms to enhance the conversational capabilities of the ChatGPT assistant. This involves researching, experimenting, and prototyping new techniques to improve the model's performance. - Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to gain insights into model behavior, identify areas for improvement, and propose data-driven solutions. Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess and prepare data for training and evaluation. - Model Training: Train and fine-tune the ChatGPT models using large-scale datasets. Implement and optimize training pipelines to efficiently process and train models on distributed computing resources. - Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the model and system architecture. Optimize code and algorithms to improve inference speed and resource efficiency. - Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the overall development of the virtual assistant. - Documentation and Testing: Document code, algorithms, and experiments to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transfer. Write unit tests and conduct experiments to validate the performance and reliability of the models. - Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related fields. Attend conferences, read research papers, and participate in knowledge sharing within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus. -Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. -In-depth knowledge of natural language processing techniques, including language modeling, sequence-to-sequence models, and attention mechanisms. -Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks. -Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, and testing. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data & AI Solution Architecture. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
