Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Your typical day will involve working with big data technologies, performing data modeling, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. - Perform data modeling and ensure data quality and integrity, utilizing tools such as SQL and NoSQL databases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and analysts, to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet those requirements. - Develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data is properly transformed and loaded into data warehouses and data lakes. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in big data technologies and data engineering best practices, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in data modeling and ETL processes using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
