Summary: As a Data Engineer in Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing using your expertise in Data Engineering. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data warehousing and analytics solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Develop and maintain data models and data architecture to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency. - Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data. - Optimize data processing and storage for performance and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and incidents in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Data Engineering. - Good To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language) and Apache Spark. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. - Experience with data modeling and data architecture. - Knowledge of data security and privacy measures. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
