Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the applications are developed according to the specified design and quality standards. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to understand the business requirements, designing and implementing application features, and conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve application defects and provide technical support to end-users. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, and test applications using SAP Hybris Commerce. - Ensure that the applications are developed according to the specified design and quality standards. - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects. - Provide technical support to end-users. Professional & Technical Skills: - Have 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Hybris e-commerce software applications - Hand-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) foundational concepts, data modeling with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and integrations. - Good knowledge in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) core concepts and commerce concepts, development of extensions and add-ons. - Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications. - Test applications to ensure they are functioning as expected and meet customer needs. - Strong knowledge of SAP Hybris, Java, and related technologies. - Experience with databases such as SQL and SAP HANA. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Provide Level 3 technical support to clients, addressing complex issues related to SAP Hybris application - Proven experience in a Level 3 Support role or similar. - Good development background with experience in Java and J2EE. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Hybris Commerce. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
