Summary: We are looking for a hands-on and experienced SAP BW/4HANA Team Lead to oversee production support and enhancement activities for our enterprise data warehouse. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of SAP BW/4HANA solutions in a live business environment. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA data modeling, issue resolution, performance tuning, and managing a support team in afternoon shift or business-critical operations. Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead a team of BW/4HANA support analysts and developers to provide 24/7 production support coverage. • Serve as the point of escalation for critical incidents and system outages. • Manage incident lifecycle: ticket triaging, root cause analysis, resolution, and follow-up documentation. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SAP Basis, S/4HANA, HANA DB, Business Intelligence, and business users). Professional & Technical Skills: • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. • Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques. • Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization techniques. • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data models for performance. • Monitor data loads, ETL processes, and scheduled jobs (Process Chains, SLT, ODP, etc.). • Troubleshoot performance issues in BW Queries, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and Calculation Views. • Analyze failed jobs and data inconsistencies, and implement corrective measures. • Provide hands-on support for data modeling, enhancement, and optimization in BW/4HANA. • Develop and implement monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. • Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to reduce manual interventions. • Work on minor enhancements, technical upgrades, and release deployments. • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management. • Document support procedures, best practices, and knowledge base articles. • Good to have : SAP BODS Required Skills : • 5+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA, with Production Support background. • Strong hands-on skills in BW/4HANA data modeling and performance troubleshooting. • Experience with native HANA models, SLT, ODP extractors, and data provisioning. • Proficient in monitoring tools like SAP Solution Manager, BW Monitor, and ST22/SM37/ST03N. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and incident management skills. • Experience leading and mentoring a support team and coordinating across time zones. • Experience with automation tools like Redwood, Control-M, or similar (a plus).15 years full time education
