Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the applications are designed to effectively support the organization's needs and objectives. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and designing innovative solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. - Design and develop applications that meet the defined requirements and align with the organization's standards and best practices. - Create technical specifications and design documents for the development team. - Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues reported by users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application design and development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kronos. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using [PRIMARY SKILL]. - Knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL. - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Kronos. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A BE degree is required.
