Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of applications for our clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes. - Design and develop applications based on business requirements. - Ensure the applications meet quality standards and are delivered on time. - Provide technical guidance and support to the development team. - Identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the applications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications. - Provide training and support to end-users. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and technologies. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in application design and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infor LN for Discrete Manufacturing. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Infor LN for Discrete Manufacturing. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Experience with application integration and data migration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Infor LN for Discrete Manufacturing. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A BE degree is required.
