Summary: As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and designing and implementing SSIS packages. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the target system. - Collaborate with the development team to analyze business requirements and design and implement SSIS packages to meet those requirements. - Create and maintain technical documentation related to SSIS packages, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSIS packages, including performance tuning and optimization. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SSIS development and integration. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Experience in designing and developing ETL processes using SSIS. - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL programming. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SSIS packages. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SSIS packages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
