Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday Financial Accounting Core. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and developing applications, and ensuring the applications meet the business needs. You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the development team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Provide technical guidance and support to the development team. - Ensure the successful implementation of Workday Financial Accounting Core. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Financial Accounting Core. - Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes. - Experience in designing and developing applications using Workday Financial Accounting Core. - Knowledge of integration techniques and best practices. - Experience with data migration and data conversion. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Financial Accounting Core certification. - Experience with other Workday modules such as Workday HCM or Workday Payroll. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Workday Financial Accounting Core. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Workday Financial Accounting core experience and certification mandatory
